Hollow grace,
Uncertain face,
Let me erase
and start again.

Ebb & flow of the television tide.
Mindless, ageless, faithless, waiting,
for something that never comes.
Existence for the sake of it,
but what is it?
Hungry for more, never full.
An internal war being fought
Underlying, invisible
Subconscious decay, rotting away.
A human husk, a shell remains,
Of all that was,
and will never be again.
